Mermaid Bachelorette Photoshoot Experience: Becoming a mermaid is the best bachelorette weekend out there. You will meet at the beach for your mermaid makeover. The makeovers include tops (if needed), mermaid tails (the bride-to-be will be fitted for a white tail), and hair accessories such as starfish hair pieces and flower crowns.

• Mermaid makeover and tail fitting so you look like the perfect mermaid 
• Tail rental for photoshoot
• 1 starfish hair clip for each mermaid that you get to take home 
• 25 - 60 minute photo shoot with a professional photographer
• All photos will be professionally edited and uploaded to an online gallery  
• Option to purchase print or digital products from our website

First Mermaid $185.00 

Each Additional Mermaid $35.00 

Duration: 45- 60 Minutes

Availability: March through Mid-October, Monday through Saturday: 

Time: Evening - Specific time confirmed upon booking. 

Cancellation Policy: You can cancel your session within 1 week of the session time for a full refund. If you cancel after the 1 week deadline there is no refund. If you need to reschedule your session we will make every attempt to accommodate your schedule.   

If your session is canceled due to weather, a call that will be made by the photographer, the session will be fully refunded.  If weather is an issue we will first attempt to reschedule your session to a new time. 

Become a Mermaid FAQ

Where to go:

You will park at the Driessen Beach Park(bring a quarter or 2 for public beach access parking) and walk down the boardwalk. Your photographer will meet you at the end of the blue mat. Please keep in mind the walk from the parking lot to the beach is about 5 minutes.  

What do I need to bring?

Your favorite swimsuit, a towel and any other accessories you would like to be incorporated into your photo session! The changing rooms are a 5 minute walk from the beach so please wear your suit to the session. 

Who can be a mermaid?

Anyone, babies as young as 3 weeks old have become mermaids with us, children, mermen, and even MERternity mermaids are welcome! So far, our oldest mermaid has been 70 years old so you're never too old or too young!

Hair and Makeup suggestions:

We like to keep our mermaids natural looking, so For hair, we recommend beach waves. Makeup up to you! You know best what makes you look like a stunning mermaid! We do not have anyone to help with hair and make up so this needs to be done prior to arriving for the experience.

What to wear:

Your favorite swimsuit! Tops can be provided but it is recommended that you wear your favorite matching top in case you would feel more comfortable.

How do I know what tail size I am?

Give us your best guess and we will bring different sizes to be sure you get the right fit. This is why it is important to show up early to your session. You may have to try on several tails before finding the one that is just right.  

Can I swim in the tail?

Due to the strong currents in the ocean swimming in the tail is not allowed, however we allow 10 minutes of mermaid time to flop around in the tail and play in the water (ideal for younger mermaids).
